Second Movie Poster

I spent a lot more time on this poster. I chose a background that related to the movie and then added individual images that portrayed the different emotions in the love story of the notebook. Each image had to be edited and smudged. After that I changed the opacity and layering of the pictures until the formed one cohesive image for the poster. Then I added the title. I like how the opacity of the images allows the background to shine through.

My first try at the movie poster looked pretty fake and unrealistic but I wanted to post in anyways because it shows how I improved from one to the other. I made a halloween poster using one solid image of the haunted house and then added things to it. I added the moon, the two ghosts and the pumpkin. I did some smudging along the edge of the moon and the ghosts to make them look like they were more part of the picture. I also resized the ghost above the house. The image wasn't intended to convey a feeling, really just to show what the event was about.
